Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball, headquartered in Conyers, GA, seeks a Project Manager for a Charleston, SC area to lead mechanical construction projects with minimal oversight. You will manage pre-construction, scheduling, budgets, and subcontractor contracts while ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years of related experience) and at least 5 years of PM experience on projects up to $15M, with proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of PM experience in construction, leading projects up to $15M.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Excel; strong cost control.
• Experience negotiating subcontractor contracts and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage Pre-construction, preplanning, and scheduling processes.
• Review and approve budgets for labor, materials, and subs.
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts with external vendors.
• Oversee project finances including profitability and cash flow.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to resolve design issues.
• Lead change management, RFI, and submittal processes.
