Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• At least 5 years leading construction projects up to $15M.
• Strong verbal and written communication required.
• Experience with project controls and budgeting.
• Ability to mentor estimating staff and coordinate with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-construction, preplanning, and scheduling processes.
• Review and approve project budgets (labor, material, subcontractors).
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts.
• Manage project finances including profitability and cash flow.
• Lead design coordination with engineers and architects to determine specs.
• Lead submittal, RFIs and change order processes.
• Implement monthly cost reports and cost projections.
• Identify options on construction means, methods and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Maintain client relationships and pursue upcoming work.
