Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery on a full-time, night-shift schedule (3x12 hours). A $20,000 commitment-incentive bonus is offered. The unit follows AWHONN guidelines and supports high-quality maternal care with a collaborative team.

Applicants must hold an active NC RN license; Bachelor’s degree is preferred. BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and AWHONN are required, with 2+ years in Labor & Delivery and 3–5 years in LDRP

Qualifikationen

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact; relocation to PSOR before employment.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and AWHONN required.
• At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• 3 to 5 years of LDRP experience preferred.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred; Mother/Baby training preferred.

Aufgaben

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
