Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team on a 3x12 hour night schedule. We offer a $20,000 commitment-incentive bonus and a mission-driven environment focused on mother and newborn care.

The ideal candidate will hold an active NC RN license (compact allowed), BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, with 2 years L&D experience and 3–5 years LDRP preferred; training in Mother/Baby is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact may be accepted.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required.
• At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• 3 to 5 years of LDRP experience preferred.
• Trained in Mother/Baby preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
