Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• One year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital or more.
• CPR and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Certification in clinical specialty is preferred.
• National Certification in specialty care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing and patient/staff management in the assigned area.
• Manage efficient patient flow and appropriate use of supplies.
• Collaborate with unit managers/directors to develop and revise policies and protocols.
• Serve as departmental liaison with patients, providers and staff.
• Adhere to policies and regulations to ensure safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
• One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience.
• CPR
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
