Job summary

Lovelace Health System, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Night Shift ICU Charge Registered Nurse to lead care in the intensive care unit.

The role requires an Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, at least one year as Charge Nurse or equivalent, CPR and BLS with 14 days onboarding, and an NM nursing license or compact license within 90 days.

You may qualify for a sign-on bonus up to $16,000 and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing required.
• One year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience.
• CPR certification required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing in the assigned area.
• Manages efficient patient flow and appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions.
• Collaborates with unit managers and/or directors to develop and revise unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
