Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a night shift, full-time ICU Charge Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM. You will lead nursing care for the unit, manage patient flow, and collaborate with leadership to ensure policies and patient safety.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and current NM license, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing required.
• One year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital OR more than one year of clinical or management experience.
• CPR certification required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including the nursing management of the patient and staff of assigned area in charge.
• Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions.
• Collaborates with unit managers/directors in developing and revising unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Serves as departmental liaison and first point of contact with patients, providers and staff.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
