Lovelace Health System, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a night shift, full-time ICU Charge Nurse to lead the patient care team in our facility. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance.

The role emphasizes professional nursing leadership, efficient patient flow, policy collaboration, and serving as liaison with patients and staff in a high-acuity ICU environment at Lovelace Women's Hospital.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience.
• CPR is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• National Certification in clinical specialty care may be preferred.

Responsabilités

• The Charge RN is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including the nursing management of the patient and staff of assigned area in his/her charge.
• Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions.
• Collaborates with the unit managers and/or directors in developing and revising unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
