Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in state of employment.
• BLS upon hire; ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Proficiency with Cerner, STAR and Healthland for ordering/canceling physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing staff during shift and act as team leader.
• Assign patient care based on nurse ability and patient needs.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Monitor task completion and ensure timely documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and code situations.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and equipment readiness.
