Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN to lead a nursing unit on a shift-by-shift basis. The role focuses on directing nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring adherence to policies and quality standards.

The position requires current RN licensure in the applicable state, BLS at hire (ACLS within 90 days), and strong clinical and supervisory skills to manage adult and geriatric patients, monitor telemetry, and coordinate admissions and transfers.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in state of employment.
• BLS certification at hire or within 6 weeks; ACLS within 90 days.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff during shift and ensure patient care is delivered.
• Review and coordinate patient assignments and.staff workflow.
• Respond to emergencies and provide leadership to the unit.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely, including telemetry and orders.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers per policy.
• Monitor compliance with safety, privacy, and hospital policies.
