Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in the state of employment.
• BLS required on hire or within 6 weeks of hire date.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Maintain licenses and certification for duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult or geriatric patients (18+) as assigned.
• Demonstrate leadership and coordinate nursing staff on shift.
• Make equitable patient assignments based on staff capability and patient needs.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs, and support staff and ensure completion.
• Attend unit meetings and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
