Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC is seeking a motivated Charge Nurse to join our team at Brookhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, TX. You will work under an amazing DON and ADON, guiding nursing staff to deliver exceptional resident care.

You will collaborate with the Medical Director and physicians to plan and evaluate residents’ care, while supporting staff development and ensuring thorough chart reviews and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a current nursing license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Conferring with the Medical Director and the attending physician about residents assigned to you.
• Consulting with the physician concerning resident evaluation and assisting the DON in planning nursing services for the resident.
• Helping the team members grow their careers and change lives.
• Examining residents and their records to distinguish normal vs. abnormal findings to detect early problems.
• Performing administrative duties for assigned residents, such as completing medical forms, reports, and charting.

What You'll be Doing

• Conferring with the Medical Director and the attending physician regarding specific residents assigned to you.
• Consulting with the physician concerning resident evaluation and assist the Director of Nursing in planning and developing the nursing services to be performed for the resident.

• Examining residents and their records and charts to distinguish between normal and abnormal findings in order to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional or mental problems.
• Performing administrative duties regarding assigned residents, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
