Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Charge Capture Representative to ensure accurate capture of all billable services, driving revenue cycle performance and compliance. You will review documentation and orders, assign CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 codes, and ensure precise charge entry daily.

You will collaborate with clinicians, coders, and billing specialists to clarify documentation, resolve discrepancies, and reinforce best practices in a fast-paced, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Strong medical terminology background and coding knowledge (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in charge capture and posting.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation, orders, and service records to identify billable items.
• Assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes and enter charges accurately.
• Review and post payments and adjustments; analyze EOBs/ERAs and EFTs.
• Escalate and resolve discrepancies; educate on best practices to ensure compliance.
