Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Revenue Integrity Specialist to document and support charge capture practices across the health system. The role focuses on data gathering for chargemaster maintenance, charge documents, and ensuring timely billing to maximize reimbursement.

Responsibilities include tracking late charges, reporting to leaders, maintaining issue logs, and collaborating with departments to correct charging issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Medical terminology experience preferred.
• Two years in hospital revenue cycle with knowledge of charging practices preferred.
• Coding and claims edit experience required.
• License(s): None
• Certification(s): None
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Word) and Access.

Responsibilities

• Track and trend data on late charges with weekly and monthly reporting.
• Provide data-driven reports to Revenue Cycle Leadership and coordinators.
• Maintain an issue log for findings and action plans.
• Identify, research, and analyze charging errors and omissions with cross-team collaboration.
• Address routine system issues; refer non-routine matters to department leaders.
• Prepare departmental reports to ensure charges are captured system-wide.
• Assist with troubleshooting accounts on holds for billing due to discrepancies.
• Support SNOW ticket management and interface with IT for maintenance tickets.

Education

Bachelor's degree
