Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group (Mountain Management Services) is seeking a Charge Capture Representative to ensure accurate capture of billable services and proper reimbursement. The role requires reviewing documentation, assigning CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 codes, and posting charges with strict adherence to HIPAA and internal policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1–3 years in revenue cycle or related work.
• Post-high school medical billing or business program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation and service records to identify billable items.
• Assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes and post charges accurately.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, coders and billers to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
• Document activities and provide timely posting of payments and adjustments.
