Job summary

Children's Cardiology is seeking a Charge Capture Coordinator in Atlanta, GA to handle charge entry, report generation, audits, and timely billing for services rendered.

The role requires accuracy, familiarity with ICD-10/CPT codes, and proficiency in 10-Key and Microsoft Office, with Epic experience preferred. You will work to ensure complete charge capture and support billing processes for the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta system.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with ICD-10 and CPT codes is preferred.
• Epic experience is preferred.
• Proficient in 10-Key with at least 13,500 KPH (50 WPM).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process required registrations and charge sessions accurately and timely.
• Research and correct missing patient demographics and insurance information.
• Enter charges into Epic using the charge entry workflow.
• Obtain authorizations and verify insurance eligibility.
• Research and obtain supporting documentation to ensure complete charge capture.
• Monitor work queues and meet productivity and billing deadlines.
• Support quality improvement in service delivery.
