Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Channel Account Representative II in Columbus, OH to provide experienced sales support for Specialty Electrical accounts, including Wesco, ADI, and Rexel. The role handles quotes, inventory availability, PO status and proactive business development alongside outside sales to meet quotas.

You will manage proactive outreach, respond to inquiries, and maintain CRM opportunities while coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required (Business, Engineering, Marketing, Communications preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years sales or account management experience required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes proactive calls, emails, and social media outreach to build relationships.
• Works to close opportunities assigned to the Channel Account Representative and/or their assigned accounts.
• Provides strategic sales support to outside sales through completing account reviews, holding strategy sessions, and providing sales and technical trainings.
• Informs accounts on current promos, new product launches, and Vertiv Partner Program updates.
• Meets assigned sales quotas, objectives & key results (OKRs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinates selling campaigns, qualifies leads, and coordinates customer introductions.
• Works with sales operations team to answer questions regarding inventory, shipping deliveries, and manufacturing timelines to ensure deliverables.
• Re-directs calls to other departments such as technical support, services, or application engineering.
• Participates in sales events to educate and promote products and services.
