Job summary

Paychex is seeking an early-career sales professional to drive new logos through referral partners and outbound outreach in a high-volume environment.

You will build relationships with CPAs and existing clients, manage a fast-paced sales cycle, and own the process from prospecting to close. Compensation includes base pay with uncapped earning potential and strong development opportunities in a growing payments and HR tech platform.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in relevant sales/marketing role.
• Comfort with high activity, fast cycles, and transactional deal sizes.
• Experience working toward goals or quotas (sales or similar environments).

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach.
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos.
• Execute high-volume daily activity (calls, follow-ups, partner touchpoints) to build pipeline.
• Sell a full suite of solutions: payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance.
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners.
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals.
