Channel Account Executive Copier sales - Midwest Region

Our client is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean markets.

They are currently seeking a Channel Account Executive, Technical Sales, for the Mid-West region. The ideal candidate will bring experience developing strategies with key decision-makers to help increase sales.

Position can be located anywhere in the Midwest as long as they are near a major airport.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop strategies to increase sales with key decision makers in the dealer sales channel and with end users.
  2. Be the face of the company, promoting the business relationship between the company and assigned dealers and/or offices.
  3. Communicate effectively with Fortune 500 customers including CEO, CIO, and CFO, presenting high-level sales strategies, ROI, and technical workflow analysis.
  4. Assist the dealer sales channel and end user customers with technical knowledge that allows for detailed analysis and recommended hardware and software solutions.
  5. Manage dealer sales channel accounts, territories, marketing program implementation, education, and other channel-related support.
  6. Conduct high-level introductory sales calls, providing retail sales channel proposal development and bid support assistance.
  7. Coordinate and implement product launches and equipment/software updates with the dealer sales channel.
  8. Manage coordination of certain events/tradeshows.
  9. Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  10. Have a working knowledge of company products and services.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree is REQUIRED.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  3. Experience with copier sales / A3 market required.
  4. B2B retail sales and/or customer face-to-face, copier dealer, copier manufacturer experience preferred.
  5. CompTIA CDIA/CDIA+ Certification.
  6. CompTIA Network+ Certification.
  7. 5+ years in sales/sales support and industry-related experience.
  8. Sales Certification in 6 core Skill-Soft areas:
    1. PROFESSIONAL SELLING IN THE KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY SIMULATION.
    2. FIELD SALES SIMULATION.
    3. TERRITORIAL ACCOUNT SALES SKILLS SIMULATION.
    4. SALES MANUFACTURING (TM): OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPMENT SIMULATION.
    5. STRATEGIC ACCOUNT SALES SKILLS SIMULATION.
    6. SALES COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUES SIMULATION.
  9. Travel of over 75% or more in the Northeast or Mid-West is expected for this position.
