Job summary

Bluebird Fiber is seeking a Change Management Analyst to join our Kansas City office. You will support NOC leadership and technical teams by using EMS/OSS to identify affected circuits and deliver timely, accurate notifications.

You will also perform data entry, maintain system accuracy, and support cross-platform data integrity. Ideal candidates have a IT-related degree, strong data-analysis skills, and a proven ability to automate reporting and notifications with automated workflows and email

Qualifications

College degree or equivalent in IT or a related technical field.
Experience manipulating, analyzing, and reporting on data sets.
Experience formatting data for easy analysis (spreadsheets, charts, pivot-tables, etc.).
Proficient in Microsoft 365, with strong emphasis on Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data tools).
Demonstrated analytical ability, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data quality.
Ability to quickly pivot between tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in automating the creation of data analysis reports and notifications, including automated workflows, spreadsheet updates, and email distribution processes.

Responsibilities

Create Maintenance Notifications (NOFAs) for all circuits potentially impacted by maintenance activities within required customer and carrier notification timelines.
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
Update and maintain contact information to ensure that customers consistently and accurately receive notifications.
Participate in weekly Change Management calls with engineering, field services, and outside plant teams to evaluate upcoming maintenances, both internal and external.
Proactively ensure readiness across all stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate potential conflicts in advance to prevent customer impact or service credits.
Evaluate workload and effectively prioritize tasks based on urgency, customer impact, and scheduled maintenance windows.
Must be reliable and possess the ability to work effectively and independently under minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy and accountability.
