Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Change Control & Configuration Manager – Intermediate to support Indian Affairs (IA) and Office of Information Technology (OIT) programs. You will manage CCM processes, coordinate change and release activities, and ensure compliance with NIST, DOI, IA, and OIT requirements while working with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.

The role requires strong project management skills, PMI/PMBOK knowledge, and experience in at least one complementary IT

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project management experience and PMP certification.
• Experience with Change Control, Configuration Management, and/or Release Management in an enterprise IT environment.
• Knowledge of CMDBs, configuration repositories, or equivalent systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the OIT Configuration Management Plan and processes per NIST/DOI/IA/OIT requirements.
• Coordinate change-control activities from intake through implementation and closure.
• Coordinate release-management activities using automated and manual tools and processes.
• Support continuous improvement of CCM services, policies, and procedures.
• Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and track actions and approvals.
• Document CCB decisions and coordinate implementation of changes.
• Evaluate proposed changes for impact on scope, schedule, cost, and security.
• Develop and maintain CCM reports, dashboards, and governance artifacts.
• Lead project management activities across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Apply PMI, PMBOK, Agile/Waterfall/hybrid methodologies to project delivery.
• Collaborate across government, business, technical, security, vendor, and contractor teams.
