Job summary

RESPEC Inc. is seeking an experienced Change Control & Configuration Manager – Intermediate to support IA and OIT programs.

The role oversees CCM, change control, and release management across the project lifecycle, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring compliance with NIST, DOI, IA, and OIT policies. Ideal candidates will bring substantive experience in at least one complementary IT delivery discipline such as Quality & Test Management, IT Asset Management, or Business Analysis & Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Demonstrated experience with Change Control, Configuration Management, and/or Release Management.
• Experience working with CMDBs, configuration records, audits, and related processes.
• Strong experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Hands-on experience leading Program Increment (PI) Planning activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the OIT CCM plan and processes per NIST/DOI/IA/OIT requirements.
• Coordinate CMDB activities and configuration baselines.
• Manage change-control from intake to approval, implementation, and closure.
• Coordinate release-management activities and related documentation.
• Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and track actions.
• Document decisions and ensure traceability of changes.
• Assess impacts of proposed changes on scope, schedule, cost, and security.
• Support audits and remediation actions; track findings to resolution.
• Develop CCM reports, dashboards, and governance artifacts.
• Collaborate with IT Asset Mgmt, Quality Mgmt, security, and project teams.
