Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Bedford, MA to lead all maintenance activities on assigned corporate aircraft, ensuring compliance with CFRs, ADs, and factory service bulletins. You will coordinate maintenance events, supervise technicians, and manage budgets and parts sourcing to minimize downtime.

The role requires an A&P certificate and at least 10 years in corporate aircraft maintenance, with strong planning, safety, and regulatory oversight capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P Certificate.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Operations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards.
• Proficient with planning, implementation, and direction of the maintenance programs and control system for the aircraft operated.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities of assigned aircraft, including implementing maintenance standards and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance training requirements with DOM and/or CAM.
• Develop a budget outlining and projecting financial expenses related to aircraft maintenance, parts & labor, tooling, equipment and base facilities.
• Supervise and approve expenditures related to assigned aircraft.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and airframe/engine times; ensure airworthiness directives are addressed.
• Serve as liaison between the company and the FAA regarding maintenance policies.
• Perform internal audits of tool calibration and material control.
