Job summary

Solairus Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance activities for assigned corporate aircraft and ensure airworthiness per CFRs and company policy.

This role reports to the Director of Maintenance and the CAM, with responsibilities spanning planning, budgeting, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate has a valid A&P and 10+ years in corporate aviation maintenance, with strong knowledge of CFRs, safety, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P Certificate.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Operations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards.
• Proficient with planning, implementation, and direction of the maintenance programs and control system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate and lead maintenance activities on assigned aircraft.
• Coordinate maintenance training with DOM and CAM.
• Develop budgets projecting costs for parts, labor, tooling and facilities.
• Supervise expenditures and ensure airworthiness compliance with CFRs and directives.
• Liaise with FAA and AMOs; conduct vendor evaluations as needed.
• Ensure complete records of inspections, repairs, and component changes are kept up to date.
