Job summary

Solairus Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance on assigned aircraft, ensuring conformity with airworthiness standards and company policies.

You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, and completion of maintenance events, while coordinating with the DOM and CAM to maintain regulatory compliance and safety. You will supervise maintenance personnel and ensure complete records, vendor coordination, and readiness of aircraft for service, with a strong focus on CFRs,

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P Certificate.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Operations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards.
• Proficient with planning, implementation, and direction of the maintenance programs and control system for the aircraft operated.
• Be a highly motivated individual committed to Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Operational Excellence!
• Remains fit for duty and abstain from drug and alcohol abuse.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities of assigned aircraft, and ensure compliance with FAA, CFRs, and company policies.
• Maintain a valid Airframe & Powerplant certificate and oversee maintenance standards.
• Coordinate maintenance training requirements with the DOM and CAM.
• Develop a budget outlining and projecting expenses related to aircraft maintenance, parts, labor, tooling, and facilities.
• Supervise and approve expenditures related to assigned aircraft.
• Participate in Safety Management Systems and support duties from DOM, CAM, and maintenance leadership.
• Supervise maintenance personnel, including interior and exterior cleaning, ensuring quality work.
• Coordinate with AMOs and outside vendors; conduct vendor evaluations when needed.
• Ensure complete records of inspections, repairs, component changes, and ADs; maintain airworthiness data.
• Ensure compliance with ADs and Service Bulletins; remove unsafe aircraft from service as required.
• Maintain aircraft operational readiness with minimal schedule impact.
• Serve as liaison with the FAA on maintenance policies; ensure CFR compliance.
• Maintain certification and recency per 14 CFR 65.83; perform internal audits of tools and material control.
