Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to provide friendly customer service, process orders, and support delivery coordination across phone, email, and digital channels. You will deepen client relationships through product knowledge and E‑Commerce tools, while contributing to a collaborative supply chain across our distribution centers.

The role requires 2 years of related work experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Two years of full-time related work experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Understanding of Foodservice industry operations.
Excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with 10-key data entry and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

Answers customer questions and resolves issues to ensure satisfaction.
Manages customer orders (stock and nonstock) via EDI or other systems and follows up.
Arranges exception deliveries with Transportation, UPS, and third parties.
Trains new Chain Accounts Representatives and attends ongoing sessions.
Builds relationships with National Account and Call Center teams to coordinate work.
Shares issues and ideas with field peers to improve collaboration.
Communicates supply chain strategies with core teams across distribution centers.
