Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Weld Tech to inspect welded joints and ensure compliance with design requirements and codes. The role involves UT/MT/visual inspections, documentation, and supporting welding process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a CWI certification, at least three years of welding experience, and knowledge of blueprints and weld symbols. This on-site position offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• CWI required for the role and certification must be current.
• Minimum three years of welding experience in multiple processes.
• ASNT-TC-1A Level II in UT and MT preferred; VT is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret National and Sabre Tubular Codes and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welded joints using UT, MT and visual methods.
• Correct welding equipment operation and techniques as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of parts.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Management to resolve welding issues.
• Train staff on welding processes and assist in new process development.
• Maintain professional demeanor and perform additional duties as assigned.
