Job summary

TEAM, Inc. seeks a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control inspections on welded components and assemblies in field and shop environments. You will verify weld quality, ensure compliance with industry codes, and support client QA/QC programs with detailed reports.

The role requires API 510/570/653, AWS CWI, AMPP credentials, and knowledge of welding processes. Travel and safety protocols are part of daily duties in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Requires high attention to detail and ability to generate accurate inspection reports.
• Experience with visual welding inspections and coordinating NDT testing.
• Familiarity with welding procedures, welder qualifications, and project QA/QC documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections per AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes, or project criteria.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTRs and monitor welding activities for compliance.
• Coordinate with NDT personnel to support UT, RT, MT, PT testing as required.
• Generate detailed inspection reports and defect logs; witness welder tests and log continuity.
