Team Industrial Services is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code-compliance inspections on welded components and assemblies at client sites and shop environments. You will verify weld quality through visual inspection and coordinate NDT testing, ensuring compliance with codes and project criteria.

Ideal candidates hold AWS CWI and API certifications, have strong documentation skills, and are willing to travel.

Mansioni

• Perform visual welding inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, API codes, or project-specific criteria.
• Review welding procedures (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and welder qualification test records (WQTR).
• Monitor welding activities to ensure adherence to approved procedures, standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with NDT personnel to support additional testing requirements (UT, RT, MT, PT, etc.).
• Generate detailed inspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs as required by the project or client.
• Witness welder qualification tests and maintain compliance with welder continuity logs.
• Interface directly with client QA/QC personnel, fabricators, and engineers to resolve welding or quality-related issues.
