Job summary

TEAM Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code-compliance inspections on welded components and assemblies. The role emphasizes visual inspection, QA/QC documentation, and coordination with NDT across field and shop environments.

The successful candidate will verify weld quality to AWS D1.1, ASME IX, and API codes, review WPS/PQR/WQTR, and interface with clients and engineers to resolve issues while upholding strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold active AWS CWI certification.
• Experience with AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API 1104 is preferred.
• Strong welding inspection and QA/QC documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections per AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTR.
• Monitor welding activities for compliance with procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with NDT for UT/RT/MT/PT as required.
• Generate inspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs.
• Witness welder qualification tests and maintain continuity logs.
• Interface with client QA/QC personnel, fabricators, and engineers to resolve issues.
• Uphold safety protocols and TEAM's life-critical expectations.
• Adhere to TEAM's standards of professionalism and quality.
