Job summary

AVANTech, LLC is seeking an experienced NDE Technician/Certified Weld Inspector to join our team in Columbia, SC. This full-time, on-site role requires performing weld inspections, NDE, and dimensional checks, with a focus on ensuring compliance with applicable codes and specifications.

The ideal candidate has a CWI and knowledge of NDE methods, and will assist in implementing AVANTech’s NQA-1 Quality Control Program. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Certified Weld Inspector (CWI).
• Additional nondestructive certification (PT, MT) a plus.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform weld inspections/NDE and dimensional inspections.
• Verify Material Testing and Documentation.
• Surveillance of Fabrication and Quality Controls.
• Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in implementing AVANTech’s NQA-1 Quality Control Program.
