Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code‑compliance inspections on welded components and assemblies in field and shop environments.

You will verify weld quality through visual inspections and coordinate with NDT personnel, reviewing WPS/PQR/WQTR and generating detailed reports. The ideal candidate has AWS D1.1/ASME IX/API knowledge, strong written and verbal communication, and a safety‑first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree a plus.
• Ability to obtain TWIC and/or site access credentials.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1, ASME IX, B31.3, API 1104.
• Strong verbal and written communication; reportable to multi-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections per AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTR documents.
• Monitor welding activities for conformity with procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with NDT personnel for UT/RT/MT/PT testing.
• Generate inspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs.
• Witness welder qualification tests and maintain continuity logs.
• Interface with client QA/QC personnel, fabricators, and engineers.
