Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Obtain two specialty certifications applicable to the work performed as per ECS Technician Certification Policy; OSHA 10 may be required.
• Valid driver's license if driving for any ECS subsidiary.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently under direction and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with electronic devices and field reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs destructive and non-destructive testing on construction materials.
• Inspects structural steel, reinforcing steel, and connections (welded and bolted).
• Performs field observations and samples collection for testing.
• Documents findings per engineering and inspection standards.
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Reports changes in site conditions and additional testing needs.
