Qualifications

2 years of related experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Obtain two specialty certifications applicable to the work performed as per ECS Technician Certification Policy; OSHA 10 may be required.
Valid driver's license if driving for any ECS subsidiary.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work independently under direction and as part of a team.
Proficiency with electronic devices and field reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Performs destructive and non-destructive testing on construction materials.
Inspects structural steel, reinforcing steel, and connections (welded and bolted).
Performs field observations and samples collection for testing.
Documents findings per engineering and inspection standards.
Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers.
Reports changes in site conditions and additional testing needs.
