MISTRAS Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a qualified NDT CWI/Quality Control Technician. The role involves performing welding inspections, nondestructive testing, and ensuring compliance with industry codes and customer specs.

The ideal candidate will have AWS CWI, NDT experience, and the ability to read blueprints; travel to client sites and work varying shifts may be required. Comprehensive benefits and training are provided.

Formación

• AWS CWI certification required.
• Previous NDT inspection experience required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, and codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform visual weld inspections per AWS, ASME, API specs.
• Support NDT inspections including VT, MT, PT, UT, and RT.
• Document inspection findings and write reports.
• Verify weld quality and conformity to specs.
• Travel to customer sites and support outages or projects.
• Maintain certifications and inspection records.
