Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's Lourdes Hospital seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will assist the surgical team by preparing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures, while maintaining aseptic technique.

The role requires an accredited Surgical Technology education, CST/NCCT/TS-C and BLS preferred. Prior perioperative experience is welcome. The position is full-time, hospital-based, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology.
• Certification in CST/NCCT/TS-C among listed options.
• Relevant perioperative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instrument for the procedure.
• Provides complete case preparation with the ability to adapt of special instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with pre and post procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Prepares and performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.
