Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM in Bend, OR is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for the OFNHP Bend unit.

The CST is a key member of the Surgical Services Perioperative Team, performing scrub and second assisting duties in accordance with Oregon law and SCHS policies to maintain a safe, sterile operating room environment. The compensation includes a pay range of $42.87 - $63.89 per hour, relocation assistance for eligible candidates, and shift differentials: Evening $2.50/hr, Weekend

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist certification required.
• Experience in operating room environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the Surgical Services Perioperative team to ensure patient care is safe, efficient and cost-effective.
• Assists and prepares equipment and sterile fields for procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and promotes standard precautions.
• Assists in pre-brief, time-out and debrief of procedures.
• Delivers instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.
