ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM in Bend, OR seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team. The CST functions in scrub and second assisting roles, ensuring a safe, sterile perioperative environment and assisting the surgeon and team during procedures.

The role supports the OR with standard CST duties, participates in pre/post case activities, and adheres to AORN and SCHS standards while providing high quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Performs duties as CST within scope of practice.
• Maintains sterile technique and safe operating room environment.
• Works with surgical team to support patient care.

Responsabilités

• Prepare operating room and obtain necessary equipment.
• Assist with gowning and draping.
• Pass instruments and maintain sterile field.
• Participate in time-out and debrief procedures.
• Deliver patient care and support during perioperative steps.
