Job summary

Bon Secours in Greenville, SC seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for St. Francis Eastside to support the operative team. You prepare sterile instruments, maintain aseptic technique, and assist with case prep and postoperative cleaning to ensure smooth procedures.

Requires an Associate Degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology, and CST/NCCT/NBSTA/TS-C certification. BLS preferred; one year perioperative experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred).
• Certification as CST/NBSTA/TS-C/NCCT is required; CST with Virginia board if residing in VA.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for the procedure.
• Provides complete case preparation with the ability to adapt to special instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with pre and post procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Prepares and performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.
