Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to support invasive procedures under a surgeon’s supervision. You will prepare and maintain sterile fields, assist with instrument handling, and help ensure patient safety throughout surgeries.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program with NBSTSA certification and BLS; VA license may apply if working in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Graduates of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Demonstrates understanding of sterile and aseptic technique in the OR.
• Ability to assist during invasive procedures under surgeon supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe operating room environment.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly for procedures.
• Support the surgeon and OR team to maximize patient safety.
