Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR and ensure instruments and supplies are available per procedure.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently.
• Handle instrument cleaning and sterilization per policy.
• Record counts of sponges, needles, and instruments with circulating nurse.
• Assist with patient positioning and draping under RN direction.
• Restock supplies and prepare rooms for subsequent cases.
• Maintain attendance and comply with policies.
