The technician supports OR efficiency through equipment readiness, inventory management, and adherence to infection prevention protocols. CST and BLS certifications are required, with 0-2 years of OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and ensure instruments, equipment, and supplies are ready
• Maintain sterile field throughout procedures
• Pass instruments accurately and efficiently
• Handle instruments per manufacturer and policy
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments for patient safety
• Assist with positioning, draping, and transfer under RN direction
• Maintain and update physician preference cards and documentation
• Restock supplies and clean/return equipment after cases
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies
