Job summary

Monarch School and Institute seeks a dedicated educator to deliver therapeutic education for students with neurological differences. The role reports to the Program Director and requires collaboration with Therapy Services to ensure consistent language and goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, valid teaching certification, and a Special Education credential, plus experience in SPED and English Language Arts instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Teaching Certification required per state.
• Certification in Special Education required.
• Certification in grade-appropriate (e.g., 6-12) ELA required.
• Minimum 3 years’ SPED teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Monarch Integrated Methodology to strengthen relationship development with students.
• Collaborate with Therapy Services and Therapeutic Support to ensure consistent language and actions.
• Contribute to development and implementation of student treatment plans.
• Learn curriculum models such as DIR, social mapping, cognitive coaching, and sensory integration.
• Implement instructional strategies and programs as directed by academic leadership.
• Plan and deliver lessons addressing individual differences and learning styles.
• Support and coordinate students’ therapeutic agenda with Leadership Team.
• Report student progress at designated intervals and in a timely manner.
