Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers seeks a Certified Recovery Specialist to provide peer support, advocate for patients, and share recovery information across emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings. You will help patients regain control of their lives and model effective recovery behaviors.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid PA CRS credential, and the ability to travel up to 50% for duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintains Certified Recovery Specialist credential via PA Certification Board.
• Self-identify as a current or former patient.
• Maintain healthy recovery from substance use disorder.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in articulating personal recovery goals.
• Help patients identify barriers and plan steps toward recovery.
• Support patients in developing daily living and coping skills.
• Observe progress and reinforce positive recovery outcomes.
• Teach problem-solving and self-talk improvement strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
