Qualifications

• Active CRS certification required at time of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a substance use treatment or behavioral health setting.
• One year of direct peer support experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of 18 hours of continuing education annually and 30 hours over a two-year cycle.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals in peer-based recovery services.
• Connect clients with community recovery supports and resources.
• Provide recovery coaching before, during, and after treatment episodes.
• Support development of self-advocacy and recovery goals.
• Collaborate with treatment teams and community partners to support recovery goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.
