Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist to support patients in recovery across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. You will advocate for patients, provide peer support, and help patients articulate goals and plan steps toward recovery.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel up to 50%. Experience in behavioral health is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Recovery Specialist credential via the PA Certification Board.
• Self-identify as a current or former patient and maintain recovery.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license; able to drive for company purposes.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.
• Preferred: Experience in behavioral health industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in articulating personal recovery goals.
• Assist patients in determining reasonable and holistic steps toward recovery.
• Assist patients in identifying barriers to recovery goals.
• Assist patients in identifying personal strengths in daily living and recovery skills.
• Observe and reinforce positive progress toward recovery goals.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Attend team meetings and complete required training.
• Fulfill documentation requirements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Use inclusive, culturally appropriate language with patients and teammates.
• Other duties as assigned.
