Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to provide peer support, advocate for patients, and assist in recovery planning across emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings. The role emphasizes modeling recovery, teaching coping skills, and supporting patient autonomy.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and maintain the CRS credential; travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
• Must verify completion of state-approved training and passing certification exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in articulating personal recovery goals.
• Assist patients in determining steps toward recovery.
• Identify barriers to recovery goals and assist in overcoming them.
• Support patients in building recovery skills and coping strategies.
• Attend treatment team meetings and represent patient needs and perspectives.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
