Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CRS credential, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) credential through PA Certification Board or equivalent.
• Must maintain recovery from substance use disorder and have own recovery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support for patients in emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings.
• Advocate for patients and share information to support recovery goals.
• Assist patients in articulating personal recovery goals and steps toward those goals.
• Train patients in coping skills, problem-solving, and social skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with patients.
