Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to provide peer support, advocate for patients, and share information across emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings.

You will model recovery and help patients regain control over their lives and recovery process. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, maintenance of CRS credentials, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 50% for company purposes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintain CRS credential via PA Certification Board.
• Self-identify as a current or former patient and maintain recovery.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability for travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in articulating recovery goals.
• Support patients in setting realistic steps toward recovery.
• Help identify barriers to recovery goals.
• Highlight personal strengths for daily living and recovery skills.
• Observe and reinforce progress toward recovery goals.
• Teach problem-solving and coping strategies.
• Address negative self-talk and fears with patients.
• Support vocational choices and reduce job anxieties.
• Build social skills and professional boundaries with patients.
