Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. seeks a Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide lived-experience support in DCSSC.

You will work with the treatment team to engage individuals, families, and supports, facilitating discharge planning and care coordination to promote recovery. Requirements include a High school diploma or GED, and at least six months of recovery from substance use or mental health disorders; an associate degree or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders.
• Healthcare-related experience with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
