Job summary

Jobsforhumanity is seeking a remote Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to manage financial reporting, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide strategic insights from a remote environment. You will analyze records, conduct audits, reconcile accounts, and collaborate with tax professionals to support growth and financial health.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong English communication, and deep US accounting expertise.

Qualifications

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in relevant field.
• Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Preferably experienced accounting/finance employees specializing in US Accounting System.
• Familiarity with accounting applications, modules, and financial statements.
• Motivation to exceed expectations while working independently
• Friendly, fast learner who can adapt to change and have a can-do attitude
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• Experience in Procurement and Logistics industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, organize, and update financial records.
• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
• Perform daily reconciliation of credit card, bank accounts, cash accounts, spending accounts, etc.
• Set up financial accounts as needed.
• Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivables.
• Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns.
• Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly.
• Keep company financial information confidential.
• Ensure vendor accounts are kept up to date for the entire organization.
